Herôme Nail Hardener and Nail Whitener

Hiii everyone! Sorry the blog has been a wee bit slow this last week, but let's change that, shall we?

I wanted to make a february haul, but then I realised it's only the 13th! How have I bought this much already?!
So I'll wait a bit with that and instead tell you about this lovely purchase I made today!

Several of my friends have told me about this product and when I've seen them wearing it it looks nothing less than fantastic.

I am of course talking about the Herôme Nail Hardener! (the link is for Strong)
If you are struggling with weak and short nail that break easily, you really need this product! You can also get different varieties depending on which strength you want and/or need.

I also bought the Herôme Nail Whitener (the link is for Glamour), which also has different varieties. I bought the one called Glamour (see below) If you feel your nails are a bit too boring or too yellow-ish, this is something for you! It will give that french manicure effect. I love it!!!

I will add a before/after pic once I've been on the cure for some time.

Lemon and Honey Beauty Mask

Hello everybody!

Since it's been a while since we last posted, I think this is a good time to talk you about this very simple and quick beauty hack.

Here's the recipe for a glowing skin mask.

Ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons of honey

This beauty treatment  is super simple: once you have mixed the two ingredients together, apply the mask to your face and leave it there from 10 to 15 minutes (don't worry if it goes on your lips, it tastes really good lol).
Then, wash it off with some water, and there you go! Your skin will look immediately better and you'll see a natural glow.
What I like the most about this mask is that is very cheap and you can always make it with the things you have in your fridge.

My Advice: I wanted to share this facial mask with you cause I think it really works, BUT listen to me when I tell you that it's best for you to apply it when you're not tanned. I made this mask after summertime, when my skin was still tanned, and once I washed it off .. well the result wasn't really good. Just apply it when you haven't exposed your skin to the sun for too long, and you'll love the final result.

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara

It's always been difficult for me to find a good mascara because my eyelashes are quite short. Besides I've been really keen on finding products without any unnecessary chemicals like the Body Shop and Jane Iredale, but they just didn't have the effect that I wished for - so I kind of gave up on that. Last year I finally found one that worked for me!

It extents your eyelashes like crazy without them getting clumpy.

Here's a link to it:

I know different mascara works on different people, but I can definitely recommend it!!

Beauty Haul Spring 2016

Hi everyone!

This post is about me loving make-up very, very, very much. How was that song?
"All I want is everything, too much is not enough" LOL

So, this morning  I was in a very good mood and I decided to go shopping, I ended up buying some beauty products that I like to share with you.

Before we start, there is something you need to know about me:
I have a problem with eyeshadows, you have no idea. It's like I want it all! Whether it's shimmery, matte, dark, light, glittery, great color, powder, cream, stick and so on and on, I want them all. For this reason, in the last months I tried not to buy any eyeshadow, cause I'm trying to finish the ones I already own (which is gonna take a looming while).
Do you have the same issue?

I can proudly say that I haven't bought any eyeshadow today (YAY for me), so here's what I decided to bring home with me:

From the new Chanel L.A. Sunrise Spring Collection 2016:
Rouge Coco Shine in number 114 and 116.

.
As you can see the number 114, named Shipshape, is a very bright and bold orange color (the first one on the left), while number 116, named Mighty is a fun bubble gum pink princess kind of color (the one in the middle). Both of the lipsticks are enriched with an hydrating formula and they're very creamy and super easy to apply. I fell in love with brightness of the colors and I think they'll be perfect for the Spring days that awaits us.
If you like those shades as well, you should hurry up and buy them, because the ones I bought at Sephora store were the last ones.

From the YSL Boho Stone Spring 2016 Collection:
La Laque Couture in number 69.

To match my Chanel lipstick I bought this beautiful soft shade nail polish called Love Pink.
I think it's great because it's a new kind of thing, it's a baby pink polish mixed with a slightly green glitter, I think this is going to look awesome on the nails, once applied. It was particular difficult for me to choose only one item from this collection because it's simply wonderful, I think I'll buy something else soon, I can't help it.

I have already put my eyes on this:

It's the Face Palette Collector. Just look at the packaging, girls, look at the packaging!!

The fourth thing I bought was the Clarins Eclat Minute- Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil, number 01.

I don't know about you, but during this winter time my lips look very red, hurt and filled with tiny little cuts. This lip balm will (hopefully) help me to solve those problems. The nice thing is that while actually doing something to soothe your lips it will also give you a shiny touch to them, which you can never go wrong.
There are two versions of it, this one and another one that is cherry-colored. I chose this honey like lip balm because I've been told it's more curative.

The last thing I bought was the Shiseido Ibuki Eye Correcting.

This is going to help me to reduce the dark circles under my eyes. I've always had those, and it has always been annoying.
I feel like it doesn't really matter what I do but my dark circles are always visible. Even under my makeup (foundation and concealer), and that's not good. I've tried other products from different brands but they never really worked. I'll let you know if this one is different.

What about you? Do you own any of these products? Do they work?
Any advice on something you love?

All the products mentioned are available at Sephora:  http://www.sephora.com

Collistar Bamboo Line

I am always very sceptic when it comes to shampoos and conditioners. The reason behind it is that I've been trying for years and years different hair products for nothing. They never do what they promise. Last year I tried the Collistar bamboo line avaible at Sephora and to my big surprise it actually WORKED!

My hair was pretty damaged before using those products, but after a few times using them I could clearly see that my hair was restored and I didn't have to struggle while brushing it.

NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation

I've never tried a NARS product before, but since everyone seemed extremely glad and satisfied with this foundation I decided to give it a try.
Girls, you should too.

The consistency is good, but very watery (remember to SHAKE it really well before using it!!), and you kinda have to apply it quickly 'cause it tends to dry fast, which is also a good thing, because once it is set, it will stay in place for many, many hours.
I think it has a great coverage without suffocating your skin (hence, the name weightless lol), and it's perfect to be applied both with your fave foundation brush or a beauty blender.

Do you agree? I am personally in love with it!!

New in!!! Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer

I am ABSOLUTELY loving Urban Decay's beauty products. The naked palettes have been a favourite of mine for years and years, but I'm quite new to the rest of their products.

So I recently bought a new concealer from Urban Decay and I love it so much. My old concealer was the Mac Mineralize Concealer which was also very good. I used shade NC20 (medium/natural). Picture below.

For my new concealer, I use a shade called light neutral and it's a bit lighter than my skin, but that's ideal. You can always apply bronzer afterwards... There's nothing worse than a concealer that's too dark for you. Try the concealer on the bags under your eyes. Grab the one that covers it smoothly :)

You can find the concealer here: Urban Decay Naked Skin

The Body Shop-Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask

The Body Shop-Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask.
I swear this is the best product I have ever used for my skin care routine. After only a week of using it, you can visibly see the results on your skin. They say it's a night-mask, but it's just a gel-cream that leaves your skin flwaless when you wake up the following morning. The best part is that you don't need to wash it away ;)
This is HIGHLY RECCOMENDED.
